I am having the NovaSure procedure tomorrow. I felt positive about it when I said 'yes' to it about 6 weeks ago but now I am having doubts. Anyone out there had It done and have some positive outcomes to calm my nerves....please !

Glad to hear that ! Hope I have the same results as you. 6 weeks of post op discharge though ..is that normal ?

That sounds ok ...I have a week off work...hopefully that will be all that I will need.

Thanks for asking..... I am ok, getting a lot of clear discharge and quite uncomfortable. Also still a bit confused after the general anesthetic. Have asked for a note off the doctor to cover me for next week as still don't feel quite right. Waiting now for my next period to see if it has worked. Did it have an immediate effect for you, from your very first period after ?

It's 12 days since I had my nova sure done. In the last couple of days have tried to get out and about a bit. Now getting varying amounts of a clear yellow type of discharge and constantly feel like a period is about to happen. Today after walking around town had bad pains in my stomach and felt awful. Supposed to be going back to work on Monday. Is it normal to be feeling like this after this procedure ?

I had discharge for about a month after mine. I was back to work after a couple of days though. May be a check up with your GP would be best.

Went to the doctors today she says that I have a post operative infection and has given me antibiotics and another sick note for work. I went into work today and felt terrible...hopefully once tablets kick in I will be ok ! Hope this procedure helps after all this....thought I would have been ok after a week.

Glad you have been checked out. Hopefully tablets will work soon.
