colonoscopy

My dad has had diarrhea for the last 3 weeks, he had his poo checked and that came back normal, he hasn't got any other symptoms apart from a bad cold and a chesty cough, he hasn't had any blood in his poo and hasn't lost any weight, he is 65. Any ideas what it could be?

Maybe he has IBS or inflammatory bowel disease.
I have the latter.

Thanks nom yes possibly, we will have to wait I guess for his colonoscopy.x
