Mirena question/hypermobility

Here we go...
I had the mirena fitted 18 months ago. Great to have no periods, I'm 47 and they were getting bad. Also have hrt patch as perimenopausal according to bloods 6 years ago. Before mirena I would have a bad back occasionally. I'm hypermobile in my hips, hands and ankles particularly.
BUT every month now around this time I seem to have horrible symtoms which getting worse every month. My hip is aching and this sets off my back. I keep feeling abit fainty (I've also got pots so this seems to be getting worse too....), bad heartburn and feel crap generally.
My GP feels removing the mirena would be a set back to my heavy periods, I've been seen by a physio who confirms the hypermobility and given exercises, and I've asked to be ref to a rheumatologist for specialist advice on my hypermobility.
The evidence I can find seems to be that the mirena is a no-go for hypermobile people.
Is there anyone on here who has any experience of this?

Do you need more oestrogen in your patch? I find p only stuff gives me the symptoms of pregnancy I hated most. :(

Yes got 125 evorel oestrogen patch so think that's probably enough?.? GP was very reluctant to take the mirena out but can't help thinking that's whats causing the problems.
