Blood test results!

Got blood tests done last Friday to check for thyroid and premenopause and full blood count, called today for results and receptionist said there all satisfactory! Do I have to go back and see the doctor??

If you want to yes. You are entitled to make an appointment to see your GP to discuss your blood results if you have questions about them. For example, if you feel symptomatic and were expecting the blood results to point to some cause for that then you may want to go back and discuss other avenues for finding out what is making you feel unwell.

I was hoping it would be something so it could be fixed ill make an appointment and go back hopefully now they have ruled this out they can get to the bottom of it or maybe I'm just a raving lunatic

you need the print out and put details on here

is tsh below 2?
is t4 mid or high in range (ask for the ranges as well)
is ferritin well above 50?

Who do I ask the doctor or receptionist??

i would phone up beforehand so you can post the results on here before the gp appt, then ask for a print out when you go

Hmmm just called up to get them over the phone and another receptionist has just told me doctor hasn't looked at them so she can't tell me the results but the receptionist yesterday told everything was fine!!!

Who do I believe???
