Had SPD during pregnancy; it went after DD was born 10 months ago. Had a hectic weekend catering for 100 people at home for DD's naming day and in agony today, feels like SPD, same symptoms... Anyone else experienced this?

Are you still bfing? Mine has got much better now I'm down to 2 feeds a day but if I do too much I get very sore.

Sdp has ruined my body tbh. I can sometimes just wake up aching for no reason. I'm hoping once I totally finish bfing it'll get better.

Long hot soak with muscle soak?

Yes. With DC2 it went shortly after birth then came back at 8-9 months. Now after DC4 I just get it every month Hmm - mainly now just if I've got off the sofa overdone it.

Sparkle; nope haven't breast fed since DD was 4 months... Another long story! Tongue Tie... no milk... I could go on but you'll have heard it all before. To scared to get in the bath, I won't get out! Blush

Frisky; have been feeling fab, lost 2 stone of the 5 & 1/2 I put on when preggers and unable to move with spd. All of a sudden... Here it is again? Seems odd it went away and then came back?!

Did you go to your GP's or are you 'getting on with it?'

Mine is only just starting to clear into just a dull ache when I have done something particularly daft. Until recently I would limp through my period, and it is only a fairly intense exercise regime that has helped. Dd2 is 4 in November :-(

Mine comes back if I overdo lifting my toddler

  • bending knees and tensing pelvic floor is vital. Also got referred to physios and then muscular/skeletal food clinic - orthotics help me a lot.
8 months to a year was worst, then I could get kids to st Hope you feel better soon. and up for picking up and do less of it.
