Magnesium for insmonia ?? anyone use it?

have googled and there are loads of sites recommending it
anyone have any personal experience ?

I have recently used it for restlesseg syndrome.

Had a good effect for a while but I improved my diet and I started with diarrhea which can be a symptom of too much magnesium so I stopped.

Actually I have and found it helpful .
It also seemed to knock out chocolate cravings !
