How soon can I bathe after appendectomy?

I had my appendix out via laparoscopy 2½ weeks ago, and the dressings (steristrips) have just come off, I still have scabbing on the scars though. Would it be OK to have a bath? I've been having showers but sometimes you just need to wallow in a lovely hot bath!!

My daughter had her appendix out about four years ago. She actually had her first bath two days later, although, the water was very low. If you're not sure fill the bath up to just below the level of your scar. Won't be the same as a warm deep bath, but you should still enjoy it.
