I had twins via c section (31+4 gestation) on 8th April. I expressed for 3 months until the milk diminished and got my first period a month later. It was just like a normal period for me which is quite heavy but nothing major. I now have my second one and its epic!! No clots or anything just trickles out every time I stand up. I don't think tampax would do the job!
Hoping you'll all say its normal? I should probably say I had to go back to theatre 3 weeks after they were born as I had retained products. Lost a lot of blood and had to have 3 units transfused. I've been taking iron ever since.
