About 3 months ago I dropped a shelf on my big toe. It was painful at the time, but then was ok, but it did leave a red mark.
The red mark turned black and grew and grew. Now it covers the whole width of my nail and just over half of the length of it.
It's starting to throb a bit again now, and seems insecure. I presume the toenail will come off.
What is the process and how should I care for it?
