Kidney pain

I had an op on Friday to try and laser a kidney stone. However my tube is too narrow and the surgeon couldn't pass the scope up it. He put a stent in to try and stretch the tube and I have to go back in about 6 weeks for another go.

I'm in so much pain though. I'm still peeing lots of blood and its agony every time I pass water. Is this normal? Anyone else had a stent put in and had the same.

I'm also away with the fairies on Tramadol

I spoke to the ward and they don't know if this is normal or not. They suggested A &E or OOH doc

I ended up calling an ambulance as the pain suddenly became excruciating. they think I've passed a stone now.

Hope you're ok. Passing kidney stones is hellish.

Quick update . I've been to A&E twice in 5 days . They have removed the stent and I was immediately pain free
