What can I use on dd's hair, looks like dandruff/dry scalp?

Dd has white flakes in her hair that at first I thought could have been nits.
Having thoroughly checked it's a flaky scalp. What can I use? She is 6.

my dd is like this aswell.i use head and shoulders on her hair.i have done since she was about 4.her hair has to be washed twice a day as she gets really smelly hair!(dont know why,but even just after a couple of hours after washing it her hair smells really strongly of hair!iykwim!!)
