Hi,

I'm new to all this so bare with me. Basically I'm a first time mum and have a little 3 month old, the pregnancy wasn't the easiest in the world health wise and I had this overwhelming fear throughout my entire pregnancy that my husband was going to die (mental I know).

Since giving birth I'm now convinced that there's something not right with me. I had a c section due to a placental abruption and have had infection after infection since and still feel the inside of my stomach being a bit tender.

I just wanted to know if there is anyone at all that feels like this and if its more common than I think or if I'm just being dramatic and mental!

Thanks

Hiya, it's normal. CS is major abdominal surgery and considering you can't even hoover for almost two months after, you are bound to still feel tender just 3 months on. did your wound become infected?

Yes, at 4 weeks! Phew, I'm glad it's normal, I've just got all these aches and pains that I didn't have before but I think tiredness has a lot to answer for!

Ah, so it would take even longer to recover. Does your DH/P pick up the slack?
