Just had to share my excitement - sorry to gloat, but am really pleased with myself, ds, the nursery & everyone.

Ds (2.25) went back to the see the "Eye Doctor".
We have been patching for one hour every day for the last 2 months or so.
Have tried REALLY hard.
Ds has been brilliant.
Nursery even better.

She said that his eyesight had improved and that we could give patching a break for a couple of months.

Sorry to gloat, but am really pleased with myself, that we have made the effort and have had atleast a minor result.

I know its not major.
I know that we will have to patch again.
But atleast things are improving.

The funny thing was, that when I told ds, "break from patching ", he said " no eye patch" ? and looked really sad.
I think he secretly likes the attention that he gets from wearing a patch and being .... special.

What a drama queen and attention seeker !
Can't imagine where he gets that from !!!! Wink
