Really sorry to post this. Bit of background....i have never been all that regular but can normally go when i need to. Sometimes every 2 - 3 days. A few years ago i suspected ibs as i wouldn't go for days but then would need to go NOW!! And it wasn't pleasant. I actually took to seeking out quiet public loos that i could get to easily from work. Blush

Then i worked out - too much crap was the trigger. Too many cakes at a work birthday, mcdonalds breakfast, fish and chips, chinese, DH mums homemade lasagne. So, fat/grease then. Normally if i eat healthily i don't have the sudden onset gross 'toileting'

However i have felt a bit bunged up the last few weeks, and haven't been on any sort of health kick. So thats unusual. Eating ok but with some cake/choc/desserts thrown in. Started a bit of a detox monday and no change. Have been twice in 5 days which would not be THAT out of the ordinary but am feeling the need to go, but not able yo. This has never been a problem for me!!! Please help/recommend something to get things moving. Feeling sore in the lower tummy area.

(diet atm consists of two yogurts, two portions of fruit, lots of veg/salad, chicken, tuna, eggs, and LOADS of water)

Poor you. If I were you I'd take some senna tablets tonight and that might make you go in the morning. If not take again tomorrow night. That should do the trick. Have you been tested for coeliac disease? Mine started like this. Good luck. Oh and take some painkillers for the tummy ache until you get a result. It can really be quite sore if you haven't been for a few days.

Thank you. Are they available over the counter? I am stumped by the change around here. Am 35 and NEVER been constipated!

Not tested for anything. Thought about going to gp about the sudden and very unpleasant occurances (preceded by very painful cramps) but when i worked out the trigger foods and started avoiding them, i didn't bother.
