Tendinitis- will it come back ?

Have just started a new job that involves a lot more computer work that my previous one. About 4 years ago I had to quit a data entry job as I developed very painful tendinitis in both my hands. I'm terrified it will return in this new job and ill be in agony again.

Has anyone ever been in this situation or knows what I can do to try and prevent this happening?

Thank you!

yes, you'll always be vulnerable.
frequent breaks, good positioning
gentle style typing
keep your hands & wrists as warm as possible
minimal keyboard/mouse at home!

massage helped me a lot, too.

don't let it get as bad as last time, that's the key thing. You don't know how you'll do until you try
