never ending period - when to worry?!

am now in week 3 of my first post-baby period (DD is 14 months tomorrow and still bfing a lot). It just doesn't seem to be letting up, and is unlike any period I've had before - more like lochia, tbh, but less of it (apologies for way TMI...).

Went to GP on day 16, and she said it would be over soon enough, might be an anovulatory cycle, and not to worry, but maybe go back next week if I'm still worried. I'm now on day 19, and it is getting heavier. Have had cramping since before it started, and have taken 2 negative pg tests, just in case, too!

So I was just wondering when it would be considered worth going back to the GP, or if I should just sit it out, and hope it sods off soon? (I am a DELIGHT to live with just now too, as am knackered, bloated, ravenous, and furious, often all at once. Fun times)

3 weeks seems excessive. go back to your gp and give in to the hunger and tiredness. it will only be temporary I am sure.
