So I took myself off for a health screening with the nurse at the gp surgery. The ones they suggest you get when you're over 40. I'm 41. They did a weight and height check etc, then a blood test. Se told me the results would take 2 weeks. 4 days later I got a letter from the nurse. Most of the blood results were fine but there was a "slight abnormality in the kidney results, so will I go back to repeat the test in 2 weeks, and bring a using sample with me." Obviously I've googled kidney disease, and putting that together with a few other symptoms I have... Itchy skin and cramps legs, I'm convinced I have a serious kidney disease. DH says I'm nuts and it'll all be fine... If they were seriously worried they'd phone me, or tell me to come in ASAP and not in 2 weeks. I'm worried out of my mind. What do you suggest?
