Numbness-any ideas?

I'm off to the out of hours at 6pm anyway but thought I'd put it out to MN in the meantime. I've had numbness in my arms hands legs and feet for the last few hours. A bit numb around the nose area as well and feel faint. No chest pain or any other pain

I flew for 3 hours yesterday, and whilst on hol stood on a rusty nail. Not sure if either is relevant but thought worth a mention. The nail only pierced a teeny tiny bit. I also feel nauseous.

Any ideas?

Blimey, this could have been me about 6 weeks ago. I went to the dr who was none the wiser and sent me for an MRI scan of my head. Haven't been yet, but the numbness has now disappeared, after about 4 weeks.

It may be coincidence but I started on iron supplements as someone mentioned anaemia, I do still wonder if these helped ( but no medical clue!)

Thanks for replying Smile

Well he said my blood pressure was low (but it's historically low anyway) and lower when I stood up. Suggested I could be a bit dehydrated which could cause the dizziness. Couldn't explain the numbness but as I'm not experiencing any pain said that if it didn't go away to come back to the centre tomorrow and may need to admit for blood tests etc. I can't do that, it's my DS's 6th birthday party tomorrow. Am hoping it goes away. We (as a family) have already experienced three deaths so far this year and there's a fair few of us ill in one way or another Sad numbed fingers crossed

I don't recall when I've had a tetanus tbh Blush Probably as a child?
The nail only just broke the skin to the point of a tiny red mark and zero blood. Enough for a tetanus you think? I'm to the doctors tomorrow with DS anyway so will check. Thank you
