No experience of this I'm Adrian but didn't want to read & run.
I have endometriosis, have had 2 laparoscopies, during my first op they found a fibroid and a polyp. I had the polyp removed. Fibroid is there (check recently through an internal scan).
My symptoms were: heavy periods, crippling pain during periods, bleeding for 9 months (lighter when I wasn't 'on') and discomfort for that 9 months. It was horrid.
Now I have heavy painful periods but I drug myself up in an attempt to avoid further surgery Wink

Am not an expert but have had an ablation and I think the consultant said 'There's no fibroid so you'll be ok for an ablation', which would seem to indicate not. Sorry. But maybe it depends on size of fibroid or even the type of ablation and the consultant doing it.
I hope you get it sorted, mine were miserable.
