I need to get this under control. I've tried literally everything.

Have looked on Amazon for a good book/programme I can follow but the choice is overwhelming - can anyone recommend one from experience?

Thank you x

come and have a look at the low carb threads, like this and this

Regardless of whether you want to lose weight or not it is a brilliant way to get your eating under control and get to grips with blood sugar levels. It really has been a revelation to me and the only way I've found to get my eating on track.

See what you think... and we're all very friendly!

I need help on this too. Low carb doesn't help because then I will just eat tons of low carb stuff and still over eat. I have no fullness gauge :(

NeedToStopEating · 06/08/2013 21:46

Thank you Queen - not sure where to start with 'low carb', any books or websites I can look at?

Molly, I hear you Sad. I have no fullness gauge either Sad.

Have you tried Paul McKenna Hypnotic Gastric Band?

QueenQueenie · 06/08/2013 21:56

Have a look at the links I posted. The first post has a link to BIWI's spreadsheet with the "rules". There aren't many.

I thought I had no fullness gauge but since low carbing I've developed one. Honestly. I think madly fluctuating blood sugar levels has a lot to do with that lack of knowing when to stop.

Moxiegirl · 06/08/2013 21:58

I had hypnotherapy, I'm not 'cured' but I don't binge anymore. I occasionally overeat but then feel horribly full and it doesn't happen often.

Sticklebug · 06/08/2013 22:06

Agree that Paul McKennas hypnotic gastic band is worth a read.

NeedToStopEating · 06/08/2013 22:23

Tried McKenna and hypnotherapy (£300!!!) and neither made any difference Blush.

Will look at low carb rules.
