10 month old with swollen glands

DS has got very swollen glands at the back of his head - they've been up about 5 days. He seems fairly bright in himself but his first few teeth are almost through so is a bit grizzly.

basically, should I take him to the docs and get checked out or just let whatever it is run it's course?

bumping for the last time

There is a bug going around both my dd's have had it, i took dd1 to the doctors and was just told to give her calpol then dd2 (12 weeks old) came down with it. I just let it run its course as long as it does'nt go on for weeks or get alot worse.
