Hi everyone. Soooo a fortnight ago, while carrying my newborn, I slipped, I knew I had to just fall on bum and hope it wouldn't hurt, obviously my little bundle was more important and thank heavens she was totally fine. Anyway, the pain when I hit the floor was horrific, I actually thought I had broken my back, but after I had stopped being so dramatic, the pain continued, and has done ever since. Can I describe some symptoms to you and maybe you might have a similar story or helpful tips? the pain is at the very base of spine, and almost up into my bum (sorry if tmi), I haven't been able to poo in the last week as too painful. Walking is ok, achey, but okish. Its sitting down that awful, after 10minutes the pain kicks in, and just wont stop til I move. Getting up of chair is ridiculous. Bending over is bad. All this is not good with many other kids and of course having to sit with little baby hours on end feeding and burping etc. the only time I get any ease is bed, which of course isn't for long. sorry im waffling I just feel utterly drained with pain, and although I do have appointment with gp next week, I don't want to waste their time by simply going with bruises etc. Also would my tailbone be already injured maybe from recent (difficult) birth? Any advise would be great. thankyou lots.
