Can anyone feel their lymph nodes?

Bit of an odd question, but about 8 month ago I noticed I could feel a few lymph nodes in my groin. Now I have no clue how long they have been palpable but during a bout of health anxiety paranoia I decided to check all my nodes and discovered them.

None are bigger than a 1cm, movable, non tender and have not changed in size. I've been to the doctor who said they were fine but to come back if they got any bigger.
However, I can't help being paranoid them and I've read some scary stuff on google.

Can anyone else feel their lymph nodes? Especially those of you on the skinny side? I've got quite bony hips and carry little fat on that area so I'm hoping that's why I can feel them, hoping!

Not mine, they're well hidden Wink but my the ones in my ds neck have always been visible. He's a skinny little thing and they've been checked. He's fine.

Thanks for your reply, I can feel both my ds' s ones in neck and groin (not that I sit around prodding them!) But I know it's more common in kids so the paranoia remains!

Yes can feel loads in my groin and neck! I am skinny too Smile

GPs will always say to come back if they grow; that is the case for any lump really. I very casually said I could feel my groin glands and he didn't even want to have a look! I asked him to and he said palpable nodes are v normal.

Yes, I can feel mine in my groin and neck. Can imagine a GP not want to be feeling around your groin. I got my female gyny to do that.

Yes, I can feel some in my neck. I used to get a lot of tonsillitis and I think that's left them bigger. Only worry if they grow.

Thanks, thats reassuring to know, they are very small and innocent seeming. Just wish I could learn to listen to the doctor instead of going on a googling frenzy!
