Not feeling right. Briefly, got a cold last day in France, had horrendous ear pain and hearing loss on flight back. Spent next 4 days feeling really rough but just with cold iyswim. Thought was getting better BUT still have residual catarrh, cough, ear probs. Weirdest thing though is the absolute bone weariness I am feeling, bearing in mind it now 2 weeks since I started with a cold but I need ibuprofen to get me through day because of the fatigue and aching. Also by the end of the day my cheeks are bright red and feel hot and uncomfortable but I dont have a temperature. Am I just odd???

I seem to have exactly the same thing. Apart from the cold bit feel like I have really bad flu. I have a v sore throat and my ears are hurting and my bones hurt...could go on. Have an appointment at docs tomorrow. Perhaps you should get one too just to get yourself looked over. Hope you feel better soon.

Ds was off school with the same thing - and funnily enough we returned from France last w/e. He is really tired, sore throat, earache, cough and cold - and I know it's genuine because he doesn't normally say if he's under the weather. This morning he seems much brighter - suddenly - and the coughing has stopped. Hopefully you'll feel better soon, if not, I'd go to the gp.

Update : have just spoken to nurse who reckons I have sinus infection Sad, but she did say that there's a bug doing the rounds at the moment which causes arthritis like symptoms and it last about 4 weeks - omg! Knowing me I've probably got both! Am off to get a nasal decongestant and the antibiotics she's prescribed me.
