Dermatology referral after mole removal

I had an atypical mole removed 3 weeks ago and have am now being calked back to see consultant dermatologist this week. I am besides self with worry! I know they wouldn't have me back if all was well. :-( I am totally irrational about it and am just waiting for them to give me awful news.

Has anyone had this and come out with ok news?

I wouldn't worry. I had a definate melanoma diagnosed, had it taken out, results were caught just in time as was grade 4 insitu. That was 30 years ago. Never returned and no others since.
