Just that really.....I think I know what to expect from the actual procedure(s) but I'm wondering if I'll be ok the next day or two afterwards? Having vague ideas of going away for a couple of days.

I was fine with mine. Wouldn't have driven but perfectly lucid, just felt like I'd had a glass of wine. quite a few people who I saw coming out seemed a lot more woozy and out of it than me though.

i was fine after mine - i wasnt given anything at all and it was all over in 15 mins, just had a bit of wind afterwards.

I had mine with sedation, on a Saturday, and I pre-booked the Monday off work. Think I would have managed but I was wiped out and literally "drained" Grin. I was extremely windy for a few days too.

It does take a few days for your bowels to get back to normal though - you will have been "well oiled"!

Fine for an easy weekend away, I felt a bit dizzy when I took DS to the park and went on the swings, so don't overdo it.

The worst part for me was the prep, and I was last on the list so had a long wait before.

I was a bit spaced and woozy for the rest of the day (had sedation at 9am, all over by 12pm) but fine enough to go for a big pub lunch with DH to make up for fasting the day before! Was absolutely fine the following day.

Prep wasn't pleasant, but fwiw, was no worse for me than the symptoms I'd been experiencing anyway!

Thanks all
I had it done this morning and have just felt exhausted ever since. Have decided against going away (was to visit PIL so I wasn't that keen anyway!)
But best thing is that nothing sinister found - phew!
