Just had a lighter period than usual followed by a 5 day gap and then a heavy period. Symptoms of tender breasts, nausea and sensitivity to smell. I've had the copper coil for 3 years and never had this before.
Anyone experienced similar? Pregnancy test turned out negative and the doctor was fairly unhelpful - apparently the coil was doing its job. Not keen to go through this again but hormonal contraception doesn't seem to agree with me.
