just recently been told by GP that my on off back prolems which include general back weakness, regularly "pulling"my back, back ache (which all started after ds2 etc are actually a result of epidural i had 9yrs ago.Shock GP went on to explain its kept rather quiete as the medical professional don't want to turn women off having it. At first i thought it was as a result of childbirth, but it gone for so long including regular upper hip ache/burning sensation in that area.

Are there any mners who have had similar experience?

Yep, me.

Never been to the doctor about it but always linked the two as the pain is in that area (iykwim). Have had four spinal block thing's for c-sections and always put any back pain down to it!

Well now I know for sure that's what it is. Can anything be done about it or is it just lump it so to speak, I don't get back pain much but when I do I feel like crying Hmm

I dont get pain iin the exact spot, its general back weakbess, prone to "doing my back in" doing the most minor task, laughing, sitting, just rolling off the bed the wrong way etc, i never linked the two, im quite shocked. Didnt get the feeling there was any real treatment for it, i suppose excercise would help, pilates etc, GP hasn't concluded yet as the leg bit is still under investigation but he said it could all be linked.
