Non-burn blister on my hand - what is it?

Hi there

Title says it all really. A couple of days ago I noticed I had a small blister on the back of my hand. The redness is about 1.5cm across and the blister bubble is probably about half a cm.

It doesn't hurt, it doesn't itch. It hasn't changed at all since I first saw it. I definitely have not burnt it, so I'm at a loss as to what's caused it. Mozzie bite? Impetigo? Any ideas?

Thanks!

Do you thin it could be a friction blister? I get them sometimes from writing, gardening or using scissors for too long.

Could be an allergic reaction to a bite. A few years ago on holiday I must have been bitten but the first I realised was when found the blisters.

Or.perhaps you got something on that hand to which h you have had an allergic reaction, possibly exacerbated by the sun?
