DD2 is 12 weeks now and I feel like something's really not right. I have a referral to gynaecologist but have been told they need to see me before mid Sep but have no appointments before then, so it could be months. I found out today my GP surgery only has one woman GP and I've found her difficult to deal with in the past. What should I do? Change surgery? Is there another way to get diagnosed? I feel like I could be making things worse if I don't get seen for several months. Hmm

If you can afford it, then you can see a gynae of your choice privately- the usual fee is anywhere from £140-£180, but their secretary would tell you.
If you live near a private hospital- such as Spire, BUPA, Nuffield, then have a look and see who they have in their list of consultants, and your GP should also be able to recommend someone.

Could you see a male gp at your surgery? They are always chaperoned by a female nurse, and you could take your DH or a friend/mum with you.

Also, contact the gynae receptionist and ask to be put on a cancellation list so you may be able to get in at short notice if someone else cancels.
