Sunstroke or food poisoning?

I'm an idiot, I know I am. I ate some sushi at lunch, it smelled fine (for sushi) and tasted fine, but was 1 day out of date and contained prawns. I have had a banging headache for 3 hours and have started to vomit. Rolling waves of nausea.

It has also been hot today as you all know. I was out with the pram between 9:30 and 11. No hat, sun cream on so no sunburn. I have drunk 3 pints of water to clear the headache, which I now fear I may see again.

Is there any difference in the treatment for the food poisoning and sunstroke? Is it just wait it out, go to bed and throw up when I need to?

Feeling very sorry for myself and I'm alone with a 6 mo so hoping its not too bad Sad

My DD had both. Sun stroke at 10, but had a temperature of 106 and headaches.
Salmonella food poisoning in her 30s, but had V&D and was very ill for days.

Glad you feel better.

If it's food poisoning, it's unlikely to be from the sushi. Most FP bacteria take 24 hours to make you ill.

Lots of water, dioralyte if you have any, rest.

Hope you feel better soon.

That's it Digerd, I've had both salmonella and E.coli and it was a very similar feeling. Thanks for the well wishes.
