I couldn't find her email, I've tried to do it by memory so I hope I got it right.

anorak · 06/06/2006 17:33

No, it's bounced back.

I'll keep looking for it later on.

anorak · 06/06/2006 17:34

Thanks so much Fox and everyone! They believe they have removed all of the cancer which is wonderful. We go back at 4:00 today (our time) to see if the skin graft is taking or if they will need to re-do the graft. It looks to me as it is healing nicely, but let's see what the surgeon says. I promise to update you and thanks so much for thinking of us. It turned out to be squamous cell cancer and not a melanoma so we were relieved (not that any cancer is goo, but at least they believe they got it all out). He's got a big divet on the side of his nose as they had to remove all the cartlidge, but he is still quite good looking anyway!!

foxinsocks · 06/06/2006 17:57

good luck for today. I hope it goes well! What an ordeal to go through.

Thanks again, it was very scarey and then I stayed for the surgery and was quite wobbly myself for a couple of days. He had to have smelling salts when they removed it to biopsy it--he never does well with blood and needles for some reason. Thank you for your kind thoughts. I will update as soon as we know.

sunchowder · 08/06/2006 16:04

We got the all clear on the cancer for now, so we are relieved! There is what they call a defect (small hole) as it is healing. He might have to have more plastic surgery in about 6 months. For now I am so relieved it is over. Thanks again for all your kind thoughts and wishes.

foxinsocks · 08/06/2006 16:05

Yay! so no more meddling for 6 months - what a relief!
