Small red itchy patches

I've suddenly got loads of small, red itchy patches all over my chest, tummy and back. About 6 that I can see on the front and a few on the back.

They're not massively itchy and I don't really notice them when I'm dressed but occasionally they bother me. If I scratch them without realising, the top layer of skin comes
Off and is white like dry skin. I look like I've got chicken pox!

They're only a few mm in diameter, the largest one by far is on my boob and is about the size of a 20p. I thought maybe ringworm, but having googled, it doesn't look like that.

It's weird. It's not particularly bothering me and I'm happy to let it go away on it's own but I am curious to what it might be - and I suppose if it is something like ringworm, I ought to get it treated before i pass it to DS. What do you think it might be?

Google heat rash. With this weather it's possible to get it.

Hmm, I've had a look but it doesn't look like heat rash, the patches are too spread out. However I have looked up "small patches of ringworm" and I think it might be that after all. So I'll see if I can get some cream tomorrow.

It can be spread out. I carried my dd in a carrier on my chest and got it. I had couple on my boobs and then lots of little ones on my belly and they were really spread out. But better safe than sorry so yeah you can try ringworm treatment

Do not self diagnose this. I had a practice nurse diagnose a skin condition similar to what you describe as ringworm and it was not that at all!.

It may be pityriasis rosea; these red patches often start on the back or stomach areas and you can develop a "Christmas tree" pattern on your back.

If it is this (and a dermatologist would confirm it) no treatment really works, it has to clear up on its own.
