Ectopic kidney and pain

Has anyone here got an ectopic kidney? I've been told that my right kidney is positioned in my pelvic area. Have done a bit of googling and they dont often show symptoms unless there is a problem.
Just wondered if anyone could give any advice.

I have an ectopic kidney. It is something we are brin with. Im late 40s and it has never caused me any problems. It was detected when I went for first pregnancy scan. I would not know otherwise.

Neither had I! I actually never even had a uti in my life! The only thing to be careful about is being punched in the front side rather than back as the area can be less protected but again, I've never had a problem. Mine is not just ectopic but also twisted.
