methotrexate and chicken pox

it looks like ds has chicken pox and I'm on low dose methotrexate (so immunosuppressed) for arthritis. I have had a definite case of chicken pox before so I'm thinking I don't have to worry? I know I should ring the gp etc but they tend to overreact and I have hcp fatigue at the moment.

I am sure that you don't have to worry. I am also on MTX for the same as you (and have been on between 15-25mg/week for years) and both my children have had the pox - as have all their friends etc etc. I think it only matters if you haven't had chicken pox.
