Facial Hair

Hi,

Does anyone know what the options would be for me, I am fair skinned and have quite a lot of fair facial hair. I am really paranoid about it. I do get some dark hairs which I'm having electrolysis for but the fair hairs are becoming a bigger problem as there are so many. I think it's because they are long.

Would any laser treatments work for this, fair hair on fair skin? At least with the dark hairs electrolysis and laser treatments work but what about the fair ones?

I'm so paranoid about it.

I am 40 weeks pregnant at the moment and I've noticed all my facial hair has been worse since pregnancy but it had been getting worse before that anyway.

It doesn't help that my boyfriend pointed it out to me earlier - proving it isn't in my mind.

Laser won't work on blonde hair unfortunately. Not sure what to suggest but I hope someone comes up with something. It is a common problem.

You have my sympathy, this evening I plucked out some cracking neck and moustache hairs, its a daily task
Laser treatment doesn't get good results for fair hair, have you ever been 'threaded'?

No I've not tried threading yet, I want something more permanent. Is there really nothing else that could work, I don't care about the expense as I am willing to pay quite a lot.

I haven't come across a more permanent solution There is the scant comfort that threading, as with all treatments removing the follicle, should lessen the oomph of the hairs... But, yeah, cold comfort-grumble grumble.

That's crap news you would think in this day and age there would be options.

I feel so self conscious. Whenever you read about facial hair it's to do with women with dark facial hair. I do understand that must be awful don't get me wrong but the long fair ones seem worse for me as I can't do anything about it.
