Hi I'm after a bit of advice I was playing with my ds yesterday and I'm not entirely sure how it happened but he managed to headbutt me in the mouth. It hurt so much I'd even go so far as to say more that child birth ....maybe......straight away the gums above my two front teeth started bleeding quite a lot, my top lip and bottom lip were both cut and that bit of skin that connect your lip to your gum ??frenulum was ripped too...ds was fine didn't bat an eye lid
This morning I have a really bad pain going from my two front teeth from where they meet my gum and I know this sounds stupid but right up into the backs of my eyes/forehead. If I accidentally touch my teeth I get a stabbing pain into my head. The problem is we have just moved so I don't have a Dentist yet...I've phoned the emergency number but they said unless part of my tooth is broken / infected they won't see me. I'm a bit worried too as I'm pregnant so worried my teeth are a bit softer than usual but also because this means no X-rays and also because I had to take steroids long term in the past an was told this would directly affect my bones / teeth....I have phoned a local Dentist an they have said a week until they can see me. I'm just a bit worried as my teeth also feel a bit loose...is there anything I can do in the next week to reduce any chances of long term problems? Sorry to waffle

Try an emergency appt with a private dentist. Sounds like total crap NHS service there - since it was an accident with blood you could probably have gone to A&E.
