Can you feel your copper coil threads?

I can't. Should I?

I had a copper coil fitted 5 weeks ago and have my first coil check next week. This morning, I tried to see if I could feel the threads and can't.

I'm pretty sure that I could feel them, well at least one, about 2 weeks after it was fitted.

Maybe my fingers aren't long enough? Maybe I'm too long inside to feel them? I suppose I'll find out next week if all is ok but I was just curious - if you've had a copper coil fitted, can you always feel the threads?

Had a coil for 25 years - never ever been able to feel the threads.

Yes, I could, but I had to reach quite deep and it was only a mm or two. But they were there for the five years I had it.
