Baby seizures

My baby girl had her first seizure 3 weeks ago, when she was 4 weeks old. It was terrifying. She stopped breathing during it.
It was very sudden she hasn't been unwell at all.
Her temp was fine and no infections.
2 weeks ago she had 2 seizures one after another.

Just wondering if anyone has gone through anything similar?

My DD had a febrile convulsion when she was a toddler but has not had one since. It was the most frightening thing ever, and she too stopped breathing during it. It has never left me.

So sorry to hear that your baby is having these seizures, what a dreadful worry for you. Poor you and poor DD. What sort of investigation is she having? Can anyone tell you what could be the cause? Have they told you what you should do should it happen again?

Just wanted to offer my support - I have seen my toddler like this know how terrifying it is. Be kind to yourself - you have had the most awful experience.

So sorry to hear this, how frightening for you.

No experience of seizures but my DS had an episode of apnea at six weeks and it was the most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me.

How is she doing? If you repost in children's health, I'm sure there will be someone with good some advice.
