abnomal blood results

I have 'mildly elevated bilirubin' and have to have additional tests. Anyone else had this? What was it? What happened?

Bilirubin levels constantly fluctuate, if however it remains elevated and you are getting fatigued with odd dizzy and feeling faint spells, and you occasionally (particularly the whites of your eyes) go yellowish, you could possibly like my DS1 have something called 'Gilberts Syndrome'.

Its very common and is genetic (my DB, DN and DM all have it) but is managed relatively easily, so don't panic..

Why were your levels being tested in the first place?

routine tests because of ?gastric ulcer (epigastric pain, nausea). omeprazole seems to be helping that so they think this is an incidental finding. I do have slightly yellow eyes (I think). Otherwise well.
