I have a really bad ulcer; I think it's infected

Sad

My jaw aches & my neck aches & is stiff and my teeth ache (bottom left) & my gland is all swollen as is the side of my tongue

I have super duper pain killers for my bad back - would I be really naughty if I took one now to let me sleep (& I promise to go see my GP in the morning - although from experience she will say "Oh you have an ulcer, how painful; never mind it will go")

I would definitely take a painkiller, after a good gargle with warm salt water for the ulcer. You poor thing. Ask your GP for Orabase, it's a brilliantly effective steroid gunk for ulcers, you used to be able to buy it over the counter but now it's only available on prescription.

So I'm not being too much of a wuss

I thought Adcortyl in oralbase had been stopped; I haven't had it for years I used to live on the stuff
