Underarm and back pain

So this morning I woke up with pain in my underarms (both). It only hurts if I touch it or if I press my arms against my body. The top of my back at the left side hurts too. Also had some minor chest twinges that come and go, these have happened numerous times before though.

For some reason I googled this and I've decided it must be cancer, and I'm now completely and utterly terrified. Cant get a doctors appointment til next week and dont live near a walk in centre. I cant stop worrying to the point im sobbing. Blush

Has anyone had this type of pain turn out to be harmless?

Have you done any lifting of anything heavy recently? I have pulled muscles under my arms moving furniture and also hurt my back. I didn't feel it at the time but the next day it was rather painful.

Never ever google any symptoms - google never diagnoses anything minor it is always the worse case scenario. I have done it myself and scared myself silly.

Nope no heavy lifting, just an uncomfortable bed.

I have a habit of googling when I know I shouldn't, donr know why I do it to myself! Especially as you start to read symptoms and try and fit what you have to suit it

You have moved a bed? Then that could make your underarms hurt.

You will probably find it is a bit better in a day or two.

I had terrible armpit pain just recently, swelling, back spasms and was worried it was lymphoma (I had a friend that died from this). Turned out to be my bra. Blush

No sorry I didn't lift a bed, I have a terrible lumpy bed and its what I usually blame my aches on.

I don't think its my bra, as its non underwired. Sad

I had underarm pain recently and couldn't decide if it was muscular or something else. I went to Dr who checked for swollen nodes etc and he wasn't concerned.

I rubbed some ibruprofen gel under my arm and it helped so maybe try this!

Are you bfing? I had something similar when dd was tiny.mit turned out that some breast tissue migrated to under my arms. Oh yes. Just as attractive as that sounds.
