Hello,
I was wandering if in the UK doctors would refer me to have a test done in order to check probabilities of having colon cancer.
A little bit of background - my dad died of colon cancer 5 years ago. He was feeling fine, within 4 month period got diagnsed with Colon Cancer and died - He was 70
Now a cousin of mine has been diagnosed with colon cancer, she is 50.
I've lived in the uk for the past 17 years, but all my family lives in Spain. All my brothers and sister had a test done to check probability or if they have colon cancer. I would like to have it check as well, but I don't know if my GP would refer me for a test or is something to be done privately.
Thanks in advance for any help
