heavy bleeding while on nexplanon

I've been on nexplanon for little over a year. Most days no period then some days spotting but lately very beavy bleeding. I had the doctor take it out but does anyone know how long after getting it removed will the bleeding stop?

Usually stops within about 3 weeks. I had mine taken out over a year ago because of daily bleeding that was just so irritating.
