Hi, am so fed up here tonight .Am taking a few antihistamines daily as prescribed by my doctor for hayfever / allergies. For the past week I am going mad from bouts of sneezing leading to a blocked up itchy nose.I thought my antihistamines would solve all this but I am now wondering are they causing this sinus/ blocked up head feeling with slight pain around nose.Oh I am fed up of allergies.... Sorry for moaning but should I run for a decongestant I wonder on top of antihistamines ?? Thanks x

my ds takes antihistamines for a dripping nose apparently it runs down his throat into his chest so I suppose it might make you a bit stuffy? is there a different brand you can take or do you have a nasal inhaler?

Thanks for reply.I was put on a nasal spray but but not much relief yet.Doctor said it is sinus as my nose is paining me.A pain in my nose , did you ever hear such a complaint and it is very sore!'i don't think it is sinus as I am not needing to blow my nose and release anything if you know what I mean.Fed up of it .Hope your son okay x

I get alot of sinus pain when I get colds, it kind of feels like facr ache and I get lots of pressure where it's blocked. Get some vaseline for your sore nose, I bet it is doing your head in now. I dont know what else to suggest perhaps harrass your gp if its the same next week? My sons fine thank u, its all connected (asthma, allergies) hope ur feeling better.
