what is this rash?

Whenever I'm under the weather, getting a bug or whatever, I always come out in a pink rash on my chest, generally between my boobs and spreading upwards. I've got it now as have been feeling ropey with some kind of low level virus I assume - its not at all itchy or hot, just looks blotchy - anyone else get this and know what its all about?

Rashes are quite common with viral illness, don't be worrying about it

Thanks Dr Google, I suppose its not so much I'm worrying about it - in fact its become a quite helpful way of confirming I've got something as opposed to just feeling off colour -its just pretty distinct and I wonder what why it appears!
