Advice on periods

Hi has anyone got any ideas/tips on how to put off your period starting. No matter how ridiculous or far fetched!! We're desperate. Lets just say young girl white dress first ever prom night. You get the idea

the pill? norethisterone can also be used to delay periods - she should go to the gp to discuss options

Thanks ilovepowerhoop we have just come back from the Gp who said no to norethisterone. So I was looking for something wholistic maybe??

would they not give her the contraceptive pill? I don't think there are any other things that would stop a period naturally

Nurofen taken 3 times a day as soon as your period starts will make the period lighter as it is an anti-inflammatory. I don't think it would stop it starting up though.
