Hi, this is not a pleasant first post but never the less here in go lol
In 2003 I had a miscarriage at about 16 weeks pregnant I had to have a d & c after this and ever since then my periods have been so heavy that I am on tablets to control them.
My doctor seems to think that, still 10 years later its ok to be on these tablets
I also found out about 4 years ago I have polyps on my ovaries which, if I'm right in thinking can cause heavy periods.
The hospital have done nothing about the polyps so I'm guessing its ok to have them ? Lol
But I'm just curious as to if anyone else has began to have heavy periods after a d & c??
I'm wondering if my polyps have actually cause the heavy periods and its justs a coincidence that I had the d &c at that time.
Any views on this gratefully received
