Colposcopy

Hi all,

I had a colposcopy today, and feeling groggy now but nothing major.

Been planning to go to Alton Towers over the weekend, is it ok to go to a them park after this or is it advise against?

Did you have a biopsy too? Are you bleeding at all?

yes and just spotting at the moment

I had mine 8 years ago and I did take it easy for a couple of days, just pottered about at home IIRC.

Although if you've got 36hrs or so before you go then hopefully the spotting will settle down a bit.

Can you call the gynea ward to check. I'm not sure of the current advice.

I've had one recently. I think you'll be ok to go but do what you feel is best once you've telephoned the nurses.
