bug in my ear?!

it feels as though there is a bug or something moving around in my ear! it has felt like this for a week for so. i am fairly sure there is nothing in there because i did get DH to have a look and he couldnt see anything.

it doesnt feel like it is in there all of the time, just occassionally. there feels like there is pressure in my ear and that is when it feels like there is something moving about.

I did have a cold when my ears first started to feel funny.

any ideas?

It's a spider, innit? Must have crawled in to lay eggs while you were asleep.

I know you know I was kidding Grin. Urban legend.

You can go to your GP and get your ear flushed out (they might have you put drops of oil in it first, and they'll be able to look into the ear properly). It's probably bunged up from the cold. If it's hurting too, them it may be infected and you'll need antibiotics. Hope it feels better soon Smile.

i thought that it might be bunged up from cold, but should it still be funny even though my cold has all gone?

Probably wax! I swim a lot and sometimes get water which can lest a couple of days. Get GP to syringe them.

There was a thread about this a while back, dp has this all the time, my Gp friend said it's likely to be a bit of tissue (not the paper type, the bodily type) that has broken off and is wandering up and down the ear canals looking for a way out.

When dp then started getting dizzy spells, she said it was def that.

I shall make a gp app. hopefully then it will stop!

Gp should have an instrument to look into the ear and can see if it is wax and or inflamed.
